deficit and prices

Hello everyone,

I am a nurse of 24yrs who has been running out of UCLA medical center.
Due to the deficit, I can't afford to pay high prices for uniforms anymore.

Does anyone know of a good cheap place where i can buy scrubs. I am buying them for a reasonable price of $9.99 a set right now at qualityscrubset.com. Every dollar is crucial now. Does anyone know where i can get scrubs cheaper than $9.99 a set, or am i just pushing my luck?

Please advise!

Re: deficit and prices

Check your local thrift and consignment shops, Goodwill and Salvation Army stores. I've found wonderful bargains on all kinds of things at such places.

Re: deficit and prices

Tafford.com sometimes has good scrubs sales as long as you are not picky about wanting 100% cotton. Usually it is only the poly/cotton blends that are cheaper. Sam's Club and Walmart sell scrubs in many areas now.

That is really cheap already. I would also try thrift stores. What i do to make it affordable is I just wear scrub pants and then pair it with cotton Tees that are solid colors and it looks real nice
