oh no, sue.
my dress is nothing like that.
it's much longer w/a sweeping, fuller, roooooomy bottom-
no collar (wide princess neckline)-
snaps on inside and continues to wrap.
it's a genuine wrap dress-
so simple and feminine- and deep, deep, roomy pockets.
it reminds me of a poor girl's prom dress from the 1800's.

Re: What would you change about your srubs?

I would like to see more pants available online in extra-extra long or UN-hemmed so I can hem them to my precise length. I find pleanty of comfortable pants, but they dont fit in length. I cannot order online at all because none of them fit, so I have to spend the extra money to buy them in a store or have them tailored.

I'd like that. I'd like a full skirt shirtwaist with big pockets. Dream on, right?

Heck, I'd wear a big apron if I could find one. THEY MAKE SENSE!

and what about nurse's work boots? (i love work boots).
to heck with pumps and pearls.
i'm there to dig in and get dirty!

Re: What would you change about your scrubs?

For the tops I like having at least two pockets, and I also like having pockets with the pants. I prefer elastic waistbands rather than drawstrings. I also like wearing the mock wraps.

please make a new line of xxs tops...hahaha...I'm petite and slim and the xsmall tops are still too wide for me... and yes, i don't like the cleavage-showing v-necks...and yes, deep pockets are desirable...

for colors and prints, I like my scrub jackets plain-colored and tops printed...I would love to see tops with dainty prints, and not those big, bold stars or hearts or flowers...

Re: What would you change about your srubs?

This is a great topic!
I like wide elastic waist pants. I'd love to see scrubs (and women's pants in general) in lengths measured in inches like men's pants. I'm a plus size, short, but with an average torso, so most petites are too short in the rise, giving me a wedgie, and regulars are built for someone 6 ft. tall. Pockets on the breast of the tops are really useless for women except as a place to attach your tag.
Really wrinkle resistant material would be a real plus as I HATE ironing!
Thanks for posting this!

I am doing research for a line of scrubs and would like to find out what nurses like/ dislike about their uniforms.

I am a fashion design student that recently spent some time in the hospital for cancer treatment this summer. I was so inspired by the compassion and care shown by the nurses and would like to thank you guys by providing uniform options that are comfy, stylish and help the wearer feel more 'individualized'.

What elements (pockets, elastic waistbands, tagless uniforms, etc) do you look for in a pair of scrubs?

What would you change about scrubs if you had the chance? (here's your chance)

What are the most popular colors worn by nurses? What colors/ prints do you dislike?

What instruments/ items do you carry on your person when you work? (pen, paper, hidden snack )

What are the dress code restrictions at your place of work?

Thank you for any input. More importantly, thank you for always giving to those around you- giving your time, comforting words, upbeat vibes and patience. It means more than you know.

I am male RN, there is a distinct lack of suitable and affordable mens scrubs.

I like tops with deep pockets, sturdy materials and MALE prints. I don't wear teddy bears, butterflies and hearts but I do like dogs, cars, motorcycles, wildlife, etc. I don't wear lime green, orange, bright yellow or other loud colors. I like earth tones, blues, forest green, other NATURAL colors! I want tops that are long enough to cover the dreaded "plumbers crack" when I bend over. I want tops with shoulder room.

I hate pants with ties, Give me elastic, wide waist bands and a darn zipper fly! Lots of deep sturdy pockets and no elastic cuffs. Tapered legs, with out so much extra material in the butt and hips.

Re: What would you change about your srubs?

I know QVC sells a new custom jean that you can pick color, cut, zip-fly, button fly, inseam, seat fit, waist fit and you just put in the measurements that work for you. I am 4'11" and not skinny. Alot of the "big girl" stores sell big stuff but just because your wide one direction doesn't mean your long the other. I can wear the underwear and double the duty as a tube top!!! The crotch in everything is always sooooo long. I'm sure they fit most but not everyone. Petite sections only go up to a certain size. No one makes a short and wide section. Even losing weight gave me few options due to being so short. I wish I could grow a few inches but being realistic I wish someone would just make custom fitted scrubs. That would satisfy everyone. You can add a pocket where ever you want a strap to whatever pocket to hold whatever item. You can pick the color and texture. That would be AWESOME. I'm sure that if the quality was really good the price wouldn't be problem at all.

Oh oh and one other thing. I don't know many women that wear scrubs that don't have the problem of the area where the thighs rub together
that doesn't wear out before everything else. It's horrible to wear out a pair of scrubs that still look great but only have the awful hole in you crotch. Thicker material there would be totally AWESOME!
