I did the newbie for oh, about an hour my very first clinical day...since then, it's always around my neck! One of the nurses I work with has one of these:

...so I got one and tried it...works great for my heavy double-tubed sprague!

I looooove this one! Cheaper than an Ultrascope, just as cute, and super lightweight. Not to mention, the acoustics on it are amazing. I get compliments on it all the time and it stands out---people know it's mine and don't take it! I'm planning on getting an Ultrascope as soon as I pass my boards as a little present to myself. I'll probably get the hot pink tubing with the nurse...or maybe the breast cancer ribbon...so many cute ones to choose from!!

I have the Littman electronic stethoscope in Navy Blue. I wear it with the ear pieces hanging to the right side of my neck. I always have a stethoscope around my neck. However, I always have a lab coat on too because I don't want the bare tubing on my neck - yuck.

And...I am always cleaning the stupid thing too.

I have a Littmann Master Cardiology with my name & RN engraved on the bell. It was a graduation present from my dh. Because I have a fear of it "growing legs", it stays around my neck.

Littman classic II SE and i think it is awesome and i have it in my pocket unless if i have to use it then i bring it out.
