Trouble replacing parts on my stethescope

Hi, I have a question. I'm trying to replace the ear pieces of my stethescope. Is there a trick to sliding them on? They seem too small to me. The pieces I'm trying to put on came with the stethescope, so I'm assuming the're the right size. Thanks for any advice.

Just push them on, they are tight so they won't slide off.

Warm the earpieces up and they will be more flexible.
