I am also researching to buy one for my clinincal. Since some stethosscopes can make u look. like u don't know what you are doing. Its better to research good and but the best ones that will come out with accurate readings.
Righnow I am considering
Littmann® Cardiology III Stethoscope, and Littman Cardiology II (not SE)
It seems
Littmann® Cardiology III Stethoscope, SUPPOSE TO BE THE BEST AMONG THE TWO BUT my research had shown that its better to buy a stethoscope with floating (not "tunable") diaphragm, a traditional bell, and dual-lumen tubing. Because tunable ones makes a lot of noise when using it on patient and can affect your readings.
Littman Cardiology II has the traditional belling and cheaper than LC III AND I think LC III is dual (both traditional and tunable bell) but a little bit expensive but woth the money.
I will let you know what I decided with reasons.
Good luck on your clinical.
