Need Information - stethoscope

I am currently getting my RN and was wondering if anyone has suggestions on what stethoscope is nost preferred to use.

I have been told by many "qualified" persons that a Littman stethescope is the best for the money. You can get a cardiology stethescope but the benefit doesn't outweigh the cost. every 5 years or so you have to replace your stethescope so the Littman does great here. hope i helped. if I am wrong, somebody please reply.

I got a Littmann cardiology III from allheart and it wasn't too terribly expensive. A friend who is a cardiac care nurse said it's the best. Hope this helps!

Everyone likes the Littmann Classic II SE or the Cardiology III....and if you want to get something that works just as good for a cheaper price check out some of the other companies making scopes these days. Check out the links below...and good luck.
