Personalized stethoscope

Hello all!

I have already decided on the Littman Cardiology III for nursing school but wanted to ask what you think the best place to personalize the scope? Most companies I found laser engrave the tubing but I found one company that jeweler engraves the bell.

So what is the general concensus about the best place to be personalized as far as it maybe not walking off?

get it on the metal part of the steth - otherwise the engraving on the tubing part will wear off over time
