Help with Charity Stethoscope

at advising I was told we would need a sthethoscope with a bell and a diaphragm. Now having no previous experience with sthethoscopes I have no idea what to look for. I want to get a littman cardiology III, but don't know if it meets those requirements. Any help?

Why do you want a Littman Cardiology III if you don't know if it has what you need?

DON'T GO AND GET THAT EXPENSIVE STETHOSCOPE!!! Save that for when you graduate, and have someone else buy that for you! For now, you'll be completely fine with a Classic II SE, which is what I have..any littmann is good..but i would recommend that one..they arent at all strict with the stethoscopes...as long as u can hear respirations and apical/peripheral pulses...which can be done with anyone!

because while trying to find the answer myself. I was looking throughout several different forums and the general consensus seems to be that the cardiology III is one of the best

Re: Help with Charity Stethoscope

I agree with Karencita, I have the Classic II SE and I have not had any problems hearing sounds.
