Am I doing something wrong ??? Or do you have to break them in? I got a Littman Classic II SE and when I wer them it hurts my ears. My husband also tryed to see if it was just my ears but he said it hurt too.
Are there some soft ear pieces in the box?? The hard ones hurt my ears too, but when I have gotten a new stethoscope there is usually a second pair of ear peices in the box that are soft, I always switch before using!
Hope that helps.
Yeh, just buy a set of soft ear pieces. My first stethescope hurt my ears and my second one introduced me to the softer ear pieces What a relief, seriously.
my steth came with different ear pieces and those made a huge difference. Also I do think there was a bit of breaking in that took place. But it is hard to remember.
Make sure they are comfortable and you can hear what you need to hear.
I did change out to the extra set that came in the box .It helped a bit but still not comfy to wear. It feels like theres too much pressure on my ears. Ill keep stretching and breaking them in. Thanks so much for your responses. Glad to know its not my ears
Are the earpieces facing the right way? Many people make that mistake with littmans and wear them backwards...I had a doctor come and turn mine around for me and I have done the same favor for lots of my classmates. The pieces should face FORWARD when inserting them. GL!
