I normally use a neonatal 'scope (Littman) when I'm in the unit; when I float to Mother-Baby, I've started using a Peds (also Littman) stethescope. A little easier to hear on those squirmy nbs.

Really anyone works well. I have a Littman Master Classic and it did just fine for newborns. Sometimes i'd have better cardiac sounds with the bell than the diaphragm.

We use Littman neonatal steths in our wellbaby nursery. I like them.
