Humor is good for you. It eases pain. Depression. Grief. Frustration. Anger.

Re: Clinton In It, To Win It (Brokered Convention, here we come!)

The Mass Supreme Court ruling on gay marriages handed Bush his victory in 2004. As a result, many States, including Ohio, put a defense of marriage amendment on their ballots. That had coattails for Bush, in Ohio, in 2004, in a race he won by 50k votes.

Today, the Calif Supreme Court threw out the law defending marriage. I'm not really pro or con on the idea. I'm more libertarian on it and think, largely, it doesn't matter one way or another. Or rather, the competing arguments offset each other.

However. California is going to have a defense of marriage amendment in November, now antagonized, just as in 2004, by this decision. Obama should hope it's not close for him in California in November, because the California Supreme Court just gave McCain a 5-10 pt bounce.

~faith,
Timothy.

About 20 years ago a couple asked us if they could have their wedding reception in our back yard.
With a chicken coop, rabbit hutch, garden, two dogs.
I made and decorated several sheet cakes and one layer cake with the plastic Bride & Groom on top.
Their best friends promised to bring the food.
They served cornbread, baked potatoes, generic beer, and soda.

He is a paraplegic Viet Nam vet, she is schizophrenic.
They are still married. No kids.

Oh, cornbread sounds so good . . . . with butter and honey and a big glass of ice cold milk (the milk is for you Tweety).
