Post RN student needing help

As a student I frequently need assistance with my pt care plans. For example R/T vein grafting... where do I look for help with this care plan AND preop. postop. care?

in regards to student needing help

Hi Dylan, those dreaded careplans are something most nursing
students don't miss after graduation. I sometimes used the book
'Nursing Diagnosis Reference Manual 2nd ed. by Sparks and Taylor. Very informative. Sometimes with a Dx. you can't be
too specific, i.e. vein graph. Instead look at the bigger picture,
as with most post-ops. potential for infection, altered mobility,
pain related to.....etc. Good luck...and don't forget to drill your instructors as they often have different expectations.
