The exam was today, I think nationwide. And everyone talks about how easy the test is, but I found some of the questions to be quite complicated. Is anyone here certified? What did you think of your examination?

Is this the AACN M/S cert?

I NEVER thought I'd want to stay in med/surg for life, but I'm actually thinking of it as a real possibility now! If I do stick with it, I definitely want the cert to prove my commitment to my specialty.

If anyone can tell me about the cert (their thoughts, reasons for getting it, how long before you went for it, etc.), I'd appreciate it.

I took mine on the 3rd as well! It actually wasn't that bad at all! Some of the questions were a little out there but otherwise not to bad! Everyone kept telling me their test had a lot of Cancer Questions - mine didn't have any! I just don't want to wait 6 wks to find out!

I passed. 1.6 standard deviation, so YAY!
