I have been a m/s nurse for a little over 3 years now. I'm intereseted in taking the m/s cert. but I'm wondering what exactly the requirements are for it? I'm wondering if I need to have a BSN to take it? I have my ADN. Also...I know that you have to re-cert. and take so many CEU's to keep up the cert. My facility pays nurses an extra dollar an hour for this cert and reimburses them for the cost of the exam. For those of you that have this cert, do you think it was worth it or is it a pain to keep up with all the stuff that goes into keep it up? Thanks everyone!
