do you isolate all meningitis patients?

Do you isolate all meningitis patient or just bacterial? I need to look up my policy where I work I am just curious cuz I'm reading back up on the topic as I'm hearing it pop up around my area and I'm seeing that some bacterial types can be contagious via conact with cough, nasal drainage, hand contact, but viral is not really contagious.

We isolate all meningitis cases until we have abt's on board and they are responding well to therapy
