Question Tips for TWU Students beginning fall 2009?

I was just accepted to TWU for this fall. I know that the school is challenging and I should expect to spend 60-90 hours a week in class/studying, but I'm just wondering if any of you TWU students could pass on some words of wisdom to the small fry here.

Also, will any of you be going to Colton, CA for clinical? That's where I'll be.

Thanks,
Californianurse

Re: Tips for TWU Students beginning fall 2009?

I am a TWU student and I'm completing clinicals in Alexandria LA. I have 10 months left! I was just like you, wondering about the program, but I will tell you, the first year is tough. I thought at times I wouldn't get through Rienke's class, but somehow managed to rough it out. It's all worth it, just keep positive and focused. My only advice would be to form a a study group as soon as school starts! This is an absolute must! Good luck!

I'll be with you at TWU for didactic, but I'm staying in Fort Worth for clinicals. See you in the fall
