i'm 23 and single so i don't really want much of a savings or wife so i'll have to take out a butt load of loans. I'd rather have a little extra than eat noddles for 28 months. i'll need for than 18.000 to the year just for a gas if the market keeps going the current trend. Can't wait to start school (the day before my birthday), it's going be ruff but I think i'll love it in the end

As young as you are and being single, I wouldn't worry too much about taking out a little extra money. If you don't go crazy when you finish, you should be able to pay the loans off fairly soon.

I'm also not from TX, will take out the full Stafford Loans, a Wells Fargo PLUS loan of 28K+ some and $10,000 in private loans from Wells Fargo to help get me through my move out to Fort Worth, and in case my other loans don't come through in time. I hear ya though. Taking out that much money is no fun, but I'm not going to worry about it, because it WILL pay off--and then some in just a few short years!!!

I don't want to take out many loans at my age....I'd hate to be paying them off with my social security! A friend of mine did her CNS at TCU and her loans are costing her $500 a month, and she didn't take out cost of living!!!!!!!!! I can only imagine what mine will be.......
