Apr 04, 2008 11:17 PM - This is a great story- tragic but good. It also points out one more thing I think... On how we treat each other. We as a whole have to help the or fellow students, co-workers- the people we are with more than our families ( it seems at times). So often the stress is so high nurses seem to turn on each other and can be so cliche'.
Apr 05, 2008 12:48 AM - You brought tears to my eyes with this beautiful story. Congrats to Janet, I know she is being the nurse that she was determined to be somewhere.
Apr 05, 2008 01:32 AM - i really like your article. people tend to be judgemental if they see some flaws on other people but most of the time people forget to look beyond what's real. janet was a very brave human being who at some point of her life was judged because of her physical weakness but she did'nt fail to prove herself to the world that she is somebody worth remembering for.
Apr 05, 2008 07:03 PM - This is such a warm and touching human experience. How quick we are to pass judgement without realizing the entire story. May Janet rest in peace and be blessed. She has accomplished in such a short time compared to those in an entire lifetime. Everyone in this life may have a burden of some type or another. More compassion and reaching out to our fellow human being is needed so badly in the world in which we all live in. Final thought....let us not forget that everybody is somebody!!!
Apr 06, 2008 04:27 AM - janet's story is an eyeopener to each and everyone of us. life is too short that's why we should live each day in a way that we desire. we should not judge janet because she chose to live her life proving something to herself and maybe to the world...what we should do is learn from her story and realize our focus in life.
Apr 09, 2008 09:46 AM - That was a very wonderful thing she did to keep going. It's so sad that a cure for this terrible disease isn't found yet. God bless you.
