We try to them out as soon as possible, usually it's around 24-30 hours for a routine heart. If a patient is only one 1 pressor/inotrope (i.e. say levo or dobutamine), swan will usually get pulled around 4am the next morning. Swan will stay in if the patient remains on multiple pressors/inotropes for a couple days.
