Cool need your help

hello everyone,
recently i got an opportunity to deliver a lecture on "Role of critical care nurse in caring for paediatric client" i am preapring this lecture but i need some expert openion from all of u.what type of different role you all perform when you get a critically ill child?
thanks in advance and kindly put inputs.

We don't get any little ones in my unit. The youngest we will accept at the moment is some teenagers. We ship all the sick kids out, but there is talk of starting to keep some of them because we now have pediatric intensivists and hospitalists. It kinda scares me to think that I might have a kid in the ICU, but I am also kinda excited about it!

Thank goodness we dont' take kids either. Ooooh...the thought makes me shiver!

You might want to post this in a PICU forum?
