Medical Surgical ICU

Does anyone know exactly what this area entails? Is the nurse to patient ratio the same as in other ICU's? Would this be a good area to start in? Any help would be appreciated

Re: Medical Surgical ICU

The ratios should be the same. The difference is there are both medical and surgical patients in the same unit. The usually happens in smaller hospitals. I think it would be a great learning experience.
