Lurking...now speaking.

Hi all,

Just want to say an official "hello" since I've been lurking for months but just now registered. I feel so lucky to have found this site since, after 15 yrs. of varied nursing experiences, I am finally trying my hand at ICU.

Mike Hammerschmidt's site has been especially helpful, as well as all your comments. It's hard to be the one asking questions once again in my career but I am sooo glad I made the switch.

We are a general ICU which gets everything but peds. and transplants so, it is refreshing having all theses different experiences.

Thanks for asking!
