ICU help

I have been a nurse for 1(1/2) years now, I started in a RN Residency program in ICU at the hospital I currently work in, but before starting the program I asked the manager to give a vacation for a month after 5 months but after 5 months, while keep her reminding One fine day she came with my preceptor and director saying, "you need more training and I can't allow you to be by yourself, so we are going to send you on tele for couple months and take you back!". This was from nowhere, after a year on tele I am planning to go to another ICU setting, I am know I am not dum, no the floors alot of nurses ask help from me many times, should apply for one?

Re: ICU help

Hi! Yes go ahead and look for another job. Did you sign a contract? It is somewhat shady that you started an ICU residency program but they put you in tele "for a few months" and never took you back. They went back on their word.
