Critical care/trauma CNS?

Hey guys I have been thinking, about going back to school for my masters, and I want to be a critical care nurse specialist or trauma clinical nurse specialist, does anyone know about either like what the programs are like, or where there are any programs of this type? Im sure we probabley have some here in St.Louis or close in Illinios, and Im thinking of relocating to Utah, California, or Chicago anyway, anyone got any advice? thanks all for any Input.

You might want to repost this on the CNS forum (under advanced practice). You'll probably get more replies and information there--good luck!

Re: Critical care/trauma CNS?

One of my coworkers is doing such a program at UCSF. There's info here with links to the curriculum: http://nurseweb.ucsf.edu/www/spec-cct.htm

Edit: One of the employee benefits of working at UCSF Medical Center is 2/3 off tuition at UCSF, last I checked.
