Hi all,

Sorry, but I couldn't find a forum for TCU/stepdown so I hope I can ask here. I'm going to be doing my last semester in a TCU preceptorship and quite frankly I'm pretty apprehensive about it but I'm trying to prepare myself as much as I can.

THUS: can anyone share with me, if you know, some of the most common drugs used on a stepdown unit? I'd like to look them up and be sure I know them

ALSO: what types of things are typically seen in such a unit? People still on vents, people with telemetry?

I'd appreciate any responses; I'm already near the end of my nursing program and I feel like I still have SOOOO much to learn even though I have learned a lot already.
