career advice

Hi, I'm graduating from an ADN program in Dec 2004. I originally wanted to go into L&D, but after working for awhile on this floor as a tech I have decided that is not something that I want to do at this point. I'm afraid going right into something like that right out of school you would tend to forget alot and wouldn't have a chance to use alot of skills.
So, I am looking at Med-Surg, PCU, or ICU. Now I'm trying to figure out which would be the best route for me, but I have no idea how to go about making that decision. Any suggestions?
Thanks
