I just finished reading reading this book by Tilda Shalof entitled 'A Nuses Story'. It was written by a woman who had worked in an ICU unit in Toronto for many years. I couldn't put it down. If anyone else has read it I'd be interested in your thoughts -particularly those who work with critically ill patients. It really made me think about 'logic' of keeping someone alive when there is no hope for recovery. The author made it seem cruel. Anyway, I thought it was a well written book and I enjoyed it very much.
