Hi everyone!! I am currently in college and considering becoming a nurse. There is one thing that is stopping me, and I was hoping to get some advice on whether I would be able to pursue nursing.
While in middle/high school, I had spinal fusions. I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis, and the bottom four of my vertebra were slipped 60 percent. While in high school I was fine, and didn't really have any issues. Now I'm always sore and have trouble lifting. I was wondering if this would keep me from being a nurse.
I know there are many different specialties, so if anyone knows what kind of specialty that would be good for someone my position I would love to hear about it!
Thanks in advanced!
