Re: Nurses with double vision or other vision problems?

When I had my double vision many years ago, I also had nystagmus with it. I was worried because I was told that nystagmus was a sign of "drug addiction" and I was worried that people would think I was some kind of drug addict.

Re: Nurses with double vision or other vision problems?

Blackcat99,

LOL. Yeah I know what you mean. When I was in high school I went to the local fair where they had one of those "Dont drink and drive" simulators with the highway patrol. Just to see what the patrolman would say I went up to him, made me eyes dance and asked him if he had pulled someone over and saw their eyes do that what would he do. He told me that he would arrest them.

After that I actually got kinda freaked out so I keep an article about nystagmus in my car just in case I get pulled over. (Mine always gets worse when I get stressed out, ticked off, or tired anyway.)
