I am an LPN/LVN in Michigan. I have recently been considered disabled. I wanted to know if there were any organizations out there that help disabled LPN's financially. I've seen one for disabled RN's called Nurses House, but not for LPN's. Does anyone know of any???

No, none for LPNs , maybe someone else know of any? here is a really good, helpful site for those who have applied for SSDI.

I am on SSI for a disability and applied to the Department of Health, they gave me a scholarship + monthly stipend (basically paid for everything to get my RN from a private college).

Just an FYI for ya if you wish to pursue RN.
