Unfortunately, all that remains is a small step stone from one of the early homes some of them built.

I suffer from asthma but my attacks are mostly triggered by allergens, mostly cat dander. But it can be triggered by a sudden drop in temperature and then a rise, then another drop. Then I end up in the ER. I have to stay away from kitties. And they seem to love me.

I've been disabled since November 29, 1988. I was injured on the job then suffered major injures driving back from a doctor's appointment. I've tried to return to school but blood clotts got in the way.

Hi Woody,

Have you ever visited Tropix.net for any information on illness and disabilities. I know I already posted this site, could be old news to every one but me lol, but thought of u and Fran.

Small world, when we get connected, isn't it Woody. Those blood clots can be very nasty critters. I had a PE in 2001 that nearly killed me. My family didn't think I was going to pull through that one. Well, we're still around, and we're still going. God must still want something from us.

Sheri, I'm assuming you mean my oldest daughter who lives near me? Since I'm currently stable, she brought me an application for senior housing that I applied for over the telephone yesterday. I filled in the info, and now all she has to do is turn it in.
I hope it doesn't take long. I was much happier when I lived on my own. I could have some family or a friend sleepover occasionally, and it would be less expensive than it is here.
I'm very unhappy here since all the old staff left. There's someone who took over the job of the old administrator, but she rarely here, and a lot of the work doesn't get done even though it's documented as being done. Very dangerous stuff. It's also very dull and quiet, and I have been trying to get an order from my physician for an MRI on my lower spine, because it's been hurting me a lot lately.

I guess that is the daughter, you spoke of her quite a few posts ago. I hope things get better for you quickly. You'll remain in my thoughts.
