Re: Interested in LNC Career and Litigation Software for Case Reports

I have the software that SIRI has recommended and even though it was expensive - they were able to break down the payment into 3 installments - a year apart- without interest. At first it took me a while to figure out the best way to use it. The first case I did was a slip and fall chrono with several diagnoses, medications and pre-existing conditions. I completed it, with the timeline and the attorney was greatly impressed.

I was able to easily sanitize the report and used it as case sample to show at an exhibit - and an attorney hired me a month later because 1) I used that particular software and 2) he loved what I was able to do with it. He is a PI attorney who has 20 or so cases he wants me to chrono/timeline for him.

That's great! I have heard of an attorney requiring an LNC to use this particular software. They have been great with working with me to give me a trial version to play with until I could come up with the first installment. And their customer service and support is outstanding.

The attorney hired me because I used this software. I may not have even piqued his interest, if I hadn't have had it. He didn't give the time of day to an LNC next to me at the exhibit, It provided the type of reports that he was after. I include in my marketing tools that I use this software.

Good stuff to know! Thanks! I'd kind of figured I was going to go with it, but I needed some justification for spending the money on it other than "It's neat."

Re: Interested in LNC Career and Litigation Software for Case Reports

Wooh, this stuff really is the greatest.

A nurse who bought cheaper software recently had a problem with it - it didn't do what she needed it to do. The attorney did not like the report that the software came up with and asked the LNC to change it. Unfortunately the software she had could not make the needed changes. She spent a long time redoing her report from scratch to meet the needs of the attorney. In the end, she didn't know what to do. She wanted to charge the attorney for the extra hours it took to redo the report, however if she did that, she could risk losing that client, after all, it wasn't the attorney's fault that the software she bought couldn't do everything.

This software saves time and money for both you and clients. It is well worth the investment if you are going to stick with being an LNC, even if it takes you 5 years to show a profit.

Re: Interested in LNC Career and Litigation Software for Case Reports

Hi everyone @ Allnurse! I will try and make this short. I have been interested in becoming a LNC for about 2 years now. I metioned this to a friend who knows of a malpractice attorney. Anyways I have cases he wants me to look at. I told him I needed to be certified first (this was my choice), I told him I wouldn't submit anything less than professional. So off I go to Kansas City!! I would like the name of the software everyone is talking about. I appreciate everyone's insight and support. What a caring group of people

Ok - I've been browsing this area tonight and my curious question is why is this software a topic for PM's?
