I'm sure I'll hear some negative feedback for saying that but I'm really just getting tired of it and would like to know if there really is something else like CLNC to get into and make a new life out of.
However, I'm mostly interested in feedback regarding how much time and effort is needed to get the CLNC business off the ground. Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

Good to read of your interest in the LNC career.
What other programs have you researched? The AALNC online course is an excellent program. It prepares you as LNC (Legal Nurse Consultant). Bear in mind, CLNC is the acronym for the Milazzo program only. You will be working as an LNC and if you complete the Milazzo program, you use the title, CLNC. If you complete the AALNC program and then later, become certified by them, you will be LNCC (Legal Nurse Consultant Certified). Check out the sticky thread (found at the top of this forum) about the AALNC program and CLNC program. Neither program (as well as any LNC program) prepares you to be a paralegal.
Yes, marketing is the key to success. The other thread (where your post originated) outlines many marketing tips. As for time to do this; depends upon you and what is available in your area (attorney-clients). Not sure I can actually give you "how many hours in a day". It is constant, everyday, follow up and creating marketing letters to send to potential clients.

I wouldn't say this is negative feedback, but a reality check......one must have a love of the Law and medical-legal aspects, enjoy lots and lots of paperwork, possess excellent research skills, and a drive to be successful in order to make it in this career. If one does not, then Legal Nursing might not be the correct fit for anyone. I always advise the RN to consider their motivation to enter into this career path. And, my advice includes that if they want an "easy" career away from bedside and/or clinical nursing, then Legal nursing might not be what they want. This specialty area can and often is, very difficult for the RN to realize success. It is very hard work......
