The Pain of Health Coverage
Frank Manzo keeps doing the math, trying to figure out how he can still offer health insurance to his employees.

Under the PNHP plan he would pay an 8% tax on their salaries. (rounded up for simplicity). 25 X .08=2 dollars per hour. His employees would pay .50 per hour. The health insurance system wants to charge him 12$/hour. The efficient private market is almost 6 times more expensive.

Best argument yet for single payer.
