hello I'm worried about my future decision. now, I'm taking pre-q

classes in city college in ca. i just started classes so i have to go still

far...but i can't decide that i should go rn at city college or bsn?

my goal is going to bsn but i'm afraid that it might hard to handle for

me because i think there will be a lot of rn and lvn nurses.

i will have to study with them..whee,,,,

i was thinking going to rn to bsn but it takes so long and needs take many units...

what should i do?

I am planning to get an RN, then BSN through continuing Ed. I already have a BA in Psych and would have to parcitally take a whole new 4 year degree. NO great advice to offer

If it is financially feasible, it sounds like you really want to go for the BSN. I think you should apply for both programs when you are ready so that you can keep your options open. Don't be intimidated by the BSN. Remember that everyone starting from the beginning of the program is in the same situation. As you go through your coursework, you will gain both experience and confidence and will be able to bring a lot more to the table when LPNs and RNs begin to be integrated toward the end of the program. Everyone will have the same goals and (hopefully) be willing to work as a team to accomplish such goals. Good luck!
