If it is financially feasible, it sounds like you really want to go for the BSN. I think you should apply for both programs when you are ready so that you can keep your options open. Don't be intimidated by the BSN. Remember that everyone starting from the beginning of the program is in the same situation. As you go through your coursework, you will gain both experience and confidence and will be able to bring a lot more to the table when LPNs and RNs begin to be integrated toward the end of the program. Everyone will have the same goals and (hopefully) be willing to work as a team to accomplish such goals. Good luck!
