Well, the traumarus story is kinda short and sweet. I went to nursing school originally right out of high school, quit school with one semester to go one day, joined the US Navy the next day and was off to boot camp soon after. Fast forward through 12 years of being overseas and voila, I'm back in nursing school! I got my LPN in 1992, my ADN in 1994, went to work for 8 years and decided I needed to go back to school. So...I got my BSN in 2004, my MSN in 2005, my post-MSN CNS certificate in 2006. Now...school is complete. As a nurse, I've worked for a couple of years in LTC (LPN), 2 years in an ICU, 10 years in level one trauma center (hence my user name), and now I work in a large nephrology practice. I am also an active pre-hospital RN on my rural rescue squad and I recently became a committee member of my state's advanced practice nursing society.

I came to All Nurses in 2001 and have stayed ever since. I was so honored to become a moderator and now an admin. I truly feel this site has so much to offer. Have a wonderful day!
