Question for anyone familiar with MDS process

Hello All,

End of month again, and I'm wondering what everone use's as a date calculater? Am I outdated with my PPS Spinner by Brigg's?

Is there something available online as a date calculater? I've tried several online calenders, however they will not accept reoccuring dates for, say, 89 days, or what have you.

Is there something better out there?

Thanks,
Dara

If you have Excel, this is a PPS scheduler which can be saved to your file. On the yellow shaded box, enter the day of adm or 1st day of medicare coverage.

Re: Question for anyone familiar with MDS process

Hey Thanks!

Not real familiar with Excel-although I do use it everyday for Daily Census sheets. Will this program work for OBRA assessments? IF so, how do I 'program' it to use the OBRA schedule?

Really appreciate the assistance.

Thanks,
Dara

Re: Question for anyone familiar with MDS process

No, it doesn't work w/ OBRA assm'ts. You will need to change the formula.

I can send you a similar one but can do both PPS and OBRA. It can work for all types of MDS assm'ts - Adm, Annual, Quarterly, Sig. Change and the PPS assm'ts.

Click on my name on the left and click Send email to Talino
Under Email Subject enter MDS CALCULATOR
Enter your email addy in the message and click send message.

I use the date spinner from Briggs usually and it IS a life saver. I also have the excel tool but I use my spinner most of the time. You are not outdated.
