MDS and Insurance Nurse

Due to changes in the facility, I have been given the added responsbility of weekly updates to Insurance HMO's and getting reauthorizations, besides completing all the Med A MDS,all care conferences, the usual coordination pieces and the QI stuff, my issue the faxing and calling has taken over, I have been doing more faxing and calling the doing MDS, any one in a similar place ? I find my MDS Coor role now stuffed behind my "insurance nurse role" and I'm quickly losing ground...anyone have this issue ? I give up
