from a colleague of mine-

The website - www.osni.info - of the IMIA-NI Open Source Nursing Informatics Working Group is rapidly developing into the premier source of information for nurses and nurse informaticians on open source and free software and GNU/Linux issues.

Thanks to the efforts of our hardworking webspinner, Karl Øyri, we have moved the site to run on PostNuke, an open source content management system. This gives us a great deal of flexibility to add new content and areas.

We would welcome feedback from the wider nursing informatics community on the site - and the activities of the IMIA-NI OSNI WG, which can be found detailed in the Strategic Plan document in the downloads area of the site. If you would like to be involved with the group, you can email me.

Alternatively, you can sign up as user to the site (although we have no user-specific content yet) - or, if you just have ideas, suggestions for things it would be useful for us to add, etc., then contact myself -peter.j.murray@btinternet.com - or Karl - karloy@ulrik.uio.no.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Peter Murray
