Nursing informatics

I was thinking about getting my Master's degree in Nursing Informatics at the University of Maryland....I've just always liked computers and consider myself to be pretty good with them. What sort of job would I get with this degree? Anyone out there know anyone who has their degree in nursing informatics and what sort of job did they get? Is there a need for Nursing informatics? Just curious...

just curious

Take a look at previous posts on this forum. Those posts will answer most of your questions. If this is an area you are interested in practicing in do your home work on the specialty - there is a great deal of information available via the Internet and Nursing/Healthcare Informatics professional organizations.
You probably wont have to look too far as the U of Maryland is well known for its Nursing Informatics program and graduates.
