I am back to ask another question of the people here. Would a Bachelors in Computer Information Systems be a bette place to start than with a Bachelors in Nursing in order to move up to a Masters in Nursing Informatics. If anyone has any advice on the subject I would really appreciate there input. Thanks once again for your time.

Walter,
See my response to your other post titled "just found nursing informatics". If your ultimate goal is to get a Masters in NI then remember if you get a BS in another specialty (not nursing) there might be additional bridge course work you may be required to do for the MS because of the differences between course requirmens in a non-nursing undergraduate program and a nursing undergrad program. Talk to a councelor at the school you potentially will be seeking the MS degree from.
Another point- having a MS in NI (alone) will not get you a job practicing in this specialty and neither will a BS in IS/IT. Recruiters and hiring mangers are primarily looking for experienced professionals but there are entry level positions to be had for people who are motivated and willing to learn on the job.
