The order of the doctor is Cotrimoxazole 4 mg/ml, 12 ml 2x a day for 7 days
The available form of oral suspension of Cotrimoxazole is 200mg/40mg. How much should I give the patient?

Re: Help me solve this dillemna

48mg = 12 ml
48mg/X ml = 200mg/40 ml
1920 = 200x

1920 divided 200 = 9.6

9.6ml
