Hola all!!! I am new to this list and have a question. My clinical instructor asked me to find some protocols/techniques/complications and the such for IV therapy and infusion on the web. So far I have found some things at ivteam.com but am still searching for more. Does anyone have any other sites for info such as this. If you do any help would be appreciated. Thanks and I hope to learn alot more from you guys.....Ron

There's a site- The SNURSE'S Bookmark (then click on Snursing links)- that has a great page about improving your chances with IV starts-some good general tips, common complications, etc.

How about trying the Intravenous Nursing Society's web site. I think the web address is www.ins1.org If this is inocrrect just do a search. If the INS has their standards posted you should find eveything you need. Hope this helps!
