Removing an IV Dressing without pain???

Looking for what you do to remove an IV Tegaderm Dressing or IV that is taped up. (i.e. techniques, tips, or products you have used that make it the least painful for the patient!!

Also looking for any standard references that one might provide )

In particular: For the hairy individual
Elderly patient with paper thin skin

Thanks

I know this one, a 3m rep told me how You put your finger on the top of the dressing and pull it to the side it releases and doesn't even pull out hair.

We have adhesive remover available for that purpose. Also, alcohol remover pads can work, just keep away from open skin. stings a bit.
