remicade/tnf infusions

I am working for a Rheumatologist who is in the process of setting up an infusion clinic within our office. What is avg.pay for infusion nurses working in this setting? Up until now, I have just been doing triaging, assessments, etc for him.

Re: remicade/tnf infusions

hello spinalnurse...I can't help you but maybe you can help me. I am a nurse that has been out of nursing due to raising the kids. I haven't been completley out but I have been giving flu shots and doing health screenings. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I recieve remicade infusions. This has made me especially interested in being an infusion nurse. Not full time but I have always enjoyed working with IV's. I have called a few different infusion centers in my area and some rheumatologists offices. No luck yet. Where is your office located. I would expect that an infusion nurse would be paid pretty close to what is being paid in the hospital.
