Radiology based PICC teams

Is anyone running their PICC teams out of the radiology dept?

We do bedside PICC lines at the facility that I am employed. Radiology only inserts PICC lines if a physician is requesting an IJ PICC or if the bedside PICC team is unable to access a vein successfully.
