Hi! I am a nursing student and have a question. I have a check off on Monday morning on IV therapy. I can't figure out how to connect the piggyback tubing to the main tubing. I am using the needleless connector, but don't have a clue where to connect it to. I have looked in two different texts, but they just say to connect it to the port. I just can't figure out how. The all have plastic/rubber tops on them that does not come off. I have been trying to figure it out all day to no avail. Please....any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!!

Don't worry, I am here. there are different kinds of adaptors. You just need to know what system they are using, what brand name. I will check back and forth to see if you found out what kind theu are using. Sometimes it is as easy as unscrewing a cap.
