Wages around the country?

I was wondering what CNAs in other parts of the country make.
The hospital I work for is starting this year's evaluation process. It is yet again a new process. I was told that they will be researching the wages of several positions to see how they compare. We may see some pay increases depending on what is found. I thought I would do some of my own research, just to see what I could find out. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Wages around the country?

I usually make 13.20 an hour, 14.20 on the weekends. This is on day shift. But right now I'm per diem so I'm making 14.20 and 15.20 on the weekends.

Evening shift at my work makes 1.00 more and the night shift makes 4 or 5 dollars more, I can't remember.

Oh and I live in Mass.

Re: Wages around the country?

Thanks for your responses! Western Wyoming...starting $13.00 and $2 for nights and $2 for weekends. From what I see so far, we are paid on the average what is paid around the country.
A year or so ago starting wage went from $10 to $13. We were very short staffed, no one was applying. Now we have many that apply and take the class, but they don't seem to stay. We also have a sign on bonus, $500 after six months and another $500 after a year. You have to be in compliance with attendance and trainings etc. It was only $600 when I started. Does anyone else have similar incentives?

Re: Wages around the country?

We don't have any incentives but I make $15.46/hr on day shift. Evenings are 10% more and overnights are 15% more. Weekends are the same
