Re: Introducing Tweety & Trauma Nursing

Tweety, my friend. How so apropos for you to be the first in the Community Spotlight.

I've enjoyed reading all of your posts, especially those responding to the members who are hurting as well as venting their frustrations in this very rewarding and at the same time, frustrating world of nursing. You are always johnny-on-the-spot to assist the newbie as well as the oldie.

You are a true patient advocate and the epitomy of what nurses should desire to emulate.

I admire your dedication and the continuation of your educative goals. One day, I know I will be able to officially say, "Tweety (insert name), I am proud to call you ... teacher".

Re: Introducing Tweety & Trauma Nursing

Hi, Tweety! Congratulations on the honor. I have enjoyed getting to know you over the past few years.

While I have enjoyed many of your posts, I have particularly enjoyed your discussions of going back to school. Your attitude about it is both down-to-earth and inspirational at the same time. You provide a great role model for others considering a similar career path. I'll be starting to teach a theory class in an online RN-BSN program in the fall -- and I certainly hope that many of my students are like you.

Have a good day!

Congrats to you, Tweety, and I agree 150% with the other posters here, you are so very deserving of recognition and accolades for you contributions to this BB! I'm sure you're even better "in action" at work (would love to have you as my preceptor!)! Kudos to you!!

Congratulations Tweety! I've read many of your posts and I absolutely think you give some of the best advice. If there were more nonjudgmental, caring, kind, and thoughtful people like you, .... what a wonderful world this would be! I wish you were my preceptor too! ~Jane
